Fall is the perfect time to have a rustic wedding theme.
Whatever you can dream about a rustic wedding theme like barns, outdoors, mason
jar lights – you can do it in the fall. Here’s five reasons why.
- The Weather is perfect – Not too hot. Not too
cold. It’s just right. Like Goldilocks and the porridge, it’s not fun being too
hot or too cold. Groomsmen won’t be sweating through their tuxedos, the bridal
party won’t have to worry about their faces melting off before pictures, and
the bride won’t have to take 15 minute breaks in the walk in cooler (true story
that happened to my sister).
- Save money – fall leaves are free and make a
perfect accent to any fall/rustic wedding arrangement. Pumpkins are cheap this
time of the year and will add to the ambiance. Sunflowers are also more
plentiful this time of the year. Venues and services typically are cheaper in
the fall because it’s not typical wedding season, which leads us to the next
point.
- More availability – in services and locations.
Since not as many wedding take place in the fall, you won’t be competing for
the best photographer, bands, locations, etc. with a lot of other brides. Those
people also will be more grateful for work during a time when they don’t get as
much work so they usually will work around your schedule better.
- Fun menus – If you use the in season food, think
of all the fun foods you can have on your menu. Cinnamon, pumpkins, apples, hot
chocolate bars, warm cider. All the foods that say warm hug to you will make
your wedding even more special.
- Gorgeous color palettes – oranges, purples, deep
reds, dark yellows. Having these colors in your wedding will makes your wedding
stand out and people will remember the fun and different wedding you had.
There are also many, many more reasons to have a fall
wedding décor like barrels, being able to be outside, the fun fall scents, the
gorgeous rustic invitations. I suppose we could to a huge list. But for now
check into a rustic wedding theme for your fall wedding. You’ll be glad you
did.
